Learning difficulties

learning in Irvine, CA

Many challenges in learning.

What really happens when children with the average (or higher) IQ Struggle in School and walk with their teachers and parents crazy?

Regular children, with an average above-average intelligence sitting in class, day after day, frustrated and misunderstood, their teachers, parents, classmates and even themselves.
They want to do well in school. They know they must handle. But somehow they just can not seem to do.
Why did it take so long to complete their work?
Why do they have hours more homework than the other children in his class?
Are they just stupid? Should be, because everyone else seems to make the job easier.
Surprisingly, these children are in every classroom in every school. They may well hidden, but they do suffer. Somehow, no matter how good they are in other things, reading or any other part of the school just does not work for them as well as it should.

four groups of teaching skills
Easy Learning is built on a continuum of teaching skills in the nervous system, reflexes that begin in the womb and remain the highest level of thinking. We think that the continuum of four levels:
abnormalities or Core Skills Learning – learning that the computer is actually stimulated business. It begins in the womb caused by reflex movements. When babies are born, these reflexes begin to leave, or integrated, as the higher of the mind begins to take over. The integration takes place through trial and error and gradual movements deliberate movement. Physical movement and exploration is crucial for visual skills and develop more internally organized.

It is often thought in terms of organization, planning and organizing time, materials and projects, but the internal structure is required to sit in a chair or walk across a room without bumping into things .
Processing Skills – Processing skills is a second level of the continuum of learning skills. These include skills such as memory, visual processing (how we think about it, we can see or imagine), auditory processing (how we think about the information we hear the sounds of words or tone of voice to our friend to use) , language processing, and processing speed (how fast as we can think and respond to information).

challenges of one of these sites lead students to longer and harder than they should work.
Executive Skills – Executive function is the CEO of the brains. This is part of the brains that behavior and attention, which helps us to plan and reasoning and problem solving controls. Students are known for making long-term projects at the last minute. But the bottom line is it takes several advanced executive ability to design and implement the project.

If a student seems lazy, unmotivated, unorganized, the real culprit may be a weak executive skills.
Academic Skills or higher learning skills – the highest level is a continuum of academic and higher education skills. Success depends on a solid expertise in the arena below. People of all ages learn to compensate for their challenges, but the fee is hard and inefficient. Robust knowledge must place new information easy to learn.
learning are extensive. They look different in different children, but what they have in common is this:
There’s something about the breakdown of the data.
Learning about the processing of incoming information – whether a child picking up a cracker, and discovered that it breaks in his hand, or 12 grader doing calculus.
When students have difficulties in school that you know when you are tempted to write off as lazy, or attention, or immaturity, take a look. There are dozens of skills that not everyone will work together to learn easily.
Good News: All of these skills can be acquired, constructed, repaired. There really is hope for all children.

Learning Disabilities in Chino, California

Many of the faces of learning.

Mathematics, Amanda did not want to cry. In fact, most of the night, he did not end in tears when her father tries to help him through his homework. It’s just
pointless.
And it lasts forever.
He feels like shes trying very hard, but those numbers and symbols on the page just does not make sense. He manages to do his homework done with her father to help, but when test time comes around, around. Shes been used to hide in his tests, so his parents do not know shes gone to another has no class.
Amanda hates math, and shes starting to hate school too. All he really wants to be friends, but somehow it doesn seem to work well or. When he makes a new friend, they end up in some kind of misunderstanding. Amanda does not even know what happened, but his new girlfriend to stop hanging out with him. Somehow, whether it’s math class or talk to other children in Hall, Amanda finds herself confused or saying the wrong things. Even when he tries his best, people will mock him and his teachers and parents think that shes not tried.
Amandas The real problem is the treatment of hearing.
His poor listening skills are difficult to calculate, for he had some important information for the teacher to explain. He can not get either other classes, because he can re-treatment gaps in the section, but shes completely lost in mathematics. Too much is missed along the way.
Amanda, the debate on the extent, so he says it’s wrong or misread what other people say. Shes always gets his feelings hurt and get on the defense when the other kids do not really want to hang out with him.

Learning difficulties

Lazy NOT Diagnosis Part 1 Jill Stowell

I recently sat down with parents, high school student who has managed to barely get by in school . When we have a thorough testing process is complete, we discovered that he has severe learning difficulties.

His parents told me very unfortunate that in the past, they were punished for their son and to take things away, because she was told that his poor performance at school due to “laziness and behavioral problems. ”

Have you ever seen one of these children, who seem lazy?

Maybe they always have their head on the table. Others just never seem to get started. Or maybe they just seem tired all the time, slowly, slowly, barely able to bring all the energy until it is time for recess, PE, or lunch. When asked about the homework, they would say they do not have the time or the right book, or maybe even say, but they seem not to.

When teachers have gone “Over and Over ‘, have done all they can do, and the student does not seem to try, lazy is often the only obvious conclusion to the left.

no matter how many teachers are frustrated,
What do students know that if
they could do the job, they would.

Work not consistently been really painful, and not a student wants to be embarrassed.

So what is the lazy-like children?

Difficulty with learning disabilities, it is usually in the background in one or more areas of inefficient processing or thinking skills, which are expected to interrupt their academic development.

Believe it or not, the basis for the development of learning begins in the womb.

There is a continuum of developmental, depending on the skill / ability-based group that develops before. If there is a disturbance in this development, at whatever level, can affect school performance.

frequently interrupted the development of skills is very subtle.

Jessica (really a student, but not his real name) is getting Ds and Fs in high school.

He can read, write, writing and arithmetic, but he did not pay attention in class, doing poorly on tests, and it will not work.

There are no major problems but he has lots of little challenges
* Her memory is a little weak
* Its focus is a little weak, so he quickly derived from a function
* He’s not a good follow up strategies, and his attention to organizing her homework and projects
It’s not an overwhelming handicap. He “comes along.” And it looks pretty normal.

In this section the tragedy
He’s pretty sure his parents and teachers are right to say that he is lazy and motivated, because he just can not watch him and to work.

Weak background processing, and executive skills to keep students can draw all works as expected. Instead, they struggle to stay, and contrary to the figures homework and test scores.

Most of the time they do not even know that there is nothing wrong. It’s the only way they always have been.

Jessica and her students like to get ignored because they seem to hesitate to try hard enough to succeed.

greatest tragedy? Parents, teachers and other professionals are (and remain) to deal with these students as if nothing is required, but the effort and if they really need, nothing more can be done.

This is good news –
These conditions can be repaired, fixed, repaired, so they are no longer on the road performance

Chapter 2, we identify the missing / weak skills and how to implement their school, work and life.

Sports is the name of the game Josh. Hes good and all of them brags about going to College of Sports scholarship of some sort. Secret, however, Josh is very concerned about. He can not seem to grades in school and the football coach speaks as if he is unable to continue the game.
Josh sets the attitude of care, but deep down hes humiliated and embarrassed. How can he virtually every sport he tries, and not so miserable at school?
His father thinks hes just lazy. Maybe thats it, Josh thinks. So why else would her so much more time to the twisted history, mission, read, and still no idea what its about. Math is OK, but he always seems to forget some of the issues raised, and in English, forget it! Hows he had read the whole chapter, and write an essay every night? He can not think of saying something like he’s ready to write. Maybe hes just stupid. Maybe he should forget college. His parents take him to the country, but he has a different F

to chat with your friends and receive jokes by Mark from his days at school. Of course teachers are very annoyed with him constantly interferes with the class to talk with him and his jokes. And he can not understand how such a smart guy can not refuse to do their job and very little time during the day.
Mark truth is that he is very intelligent, but he can not read very well. His intelligence can be to him, he can not read enough to get the right answers, and sometimes parts of the tasks done. Unfortunately, he did just enough so it looks like he can do so if he does, he seems unmotivated.
Mark’s teacher thinks Attention Deficit Disorder.
In fact, he is dyslexic.
He is not a job, so he finds other ways to entertain themselves. Hes the 4th FS classroom. Mark’s mother sees how hard she tries at home, but even if he is frustrated that Mark can not seem to be a homework to do there without him every minute to get help.
The father is angry because he thinks that Mark could do better if he tried harder. And Mark would just give up. No matter how hard he tries, he still can not manage to get along.
